III. Principle of operation
This series of magnetic flux meter adopts the principle of electromagnetic induction and the electronic integration method to measure the magnetic flux of the magnetic field source.

1, Connect the two ends of the measuring coil to the signal input terminal on the front panel of the instrument, then press the power switch on the back panel of the instrument, the "display part" (LED) on the front panel will light up, warm up for 5 minutes;

2, Drift Adjustment: Select the appropriate range, press the reset button, the display part may have the number change, and increase from positive (or negative) direction (this is the reason that the integrator drift is also accumulated), when using the zero potentiometer to adjust the drift, if the value changes to the negative direction, then turn the knob to positive direction, otherwise it needs to adjust the direction until the display is zero.

   3, range switch description: under normal measurement, the range switch is in the pop-up position, when the magnetic flux exceeds this range, it will display "1" is the full range, then you need to press the range switch, the range will be expanded 7.8 times.

  Steps for measuring magnetic flux in the loudspeaker.

(1) connected with the speaker core supporting the voice coil, and then do a good job with a handle, so that the operation is convenient!

(2) Insert the voice coil into the magnetic gap, press the reset switch, and then pull out, the reading shown on the panel is the magnetic flux.

 5, integral signal display, press the "reset" switch to clearly display the previous signal, input a voltage pulse signal, see the voltage reading after the pulse signal is integrated, then press the reset button. To measure the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet material with the coil, the steps are: 1, put the magnet into the coil 2, press the reset zero button 3, move the coil away from the magnet, the value displayed at this time is the magnetic flux value of the magnet.

 I. Magnetic Flux Meter Applications

The flux meter can be connected to a single coil or Helmholtz coil to measure the magnetic flux of a magnet.

Measured with a tile fixture (not a test fixture as standard with the machine).

Measurement steps.

1、 Adjust the adjustment button of position 3,4 on the right according to the length and width of the magnetic tile or magnetic sheet, so that the indicated value of the ruler in the upper and lower position is equal to half of the width of the magnet, and the indicated value of the ruler in the left and right position is equal to half of the length of the magnet.

 2, Place the magnet in the right position as shown in the diagram, and place the top corner of the magnet close to the right angle position.

 3) Press the reset button on the fluxmeter so that the fluxmeter reads zero, and then remove the magnet, the fluxmeter now reads the working flux of the magnet.

 Measurement with Helmholtz coil (not machine standard with test tooling)

Measurement steps.

1、 Connect the signal output of the coil with the signal input of the magnetometer, and adjust the position of the platform inside the coil so that the height of the platform is suitable for the measurement. (The proper height is the one where the center line of the sample is aligned with the center of the observation hole of the coil after the sample is placed in the coil.

 2. Place the sample in the center of the coil, press the reset button on the fluxmeter to make the fluxmeter display zero, and then remove the magnet, the fluxmeter now shows the working flux of the magnet.

 Principle and formula for measuring the B value of a sample with a Helmholtz coil

The coil was originally used to generate a uniform magnetic field in an area of 0.2 radius from the center of the coil, and since the magneto-electric conversion is reversible, if a pair of poles is placed in a uniform area of the coil, the B value of the magnet can be calculated by measuring the change in magnetic flux of the magnet in the coil using the following equation.

B = magnetic flux * C/V.
